Candidates will develop a suite of assessment and evaluation tools and strategies to support students experiencing barriers to literacy. Through various guided practical exercises, candidates will continually reflect upon their professional practices, refine their professional judgment, and generate new knowledge about reading assessment and evaluation. Candidates will explore evidence-informed strategies to differentiate instruction, provide targeted intervention, and monitor students' progress based on results from reading inventories and assessment data.
