OISE EduTours offer immersive professional learning experiences for educators, school leaders, ministries, and organizations interested in exploring Canadian education in practice. Through school visits, conversations with education experts, and facilitated discussions with local educators and partners, participants gain insight into how educational ideas are applied across classrooms, schools, systems, and organizations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

What is an EduTour?

An EduTour is a structured professional learning experience designed to help education professionals explore educational practices, leadership approaches, and learning environments in a meaningful and engaging way.

More than simply visiting schools or attending presentations, OISE EduTours create opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and professional exchange. Participants connect with educators, researchers, and organizations to explore ideas, share perspectives, and consider how practices and approaches may apply within their own educational contexts.

About OISE EduTours

OISE EduTours are typically offered twice yearly in Spring (April/May) and Autumn (October/November), with customized experiences available for groups and organizations throughout the year.

Programs are designed as 3–5 day experiences conducted in English and may focus on areas such as education leadership, equity and inclusion, professional learning, inquiry-based learning, global competencies, entrepreneurship education, and workforce learning and development.

Our EduTours welcome teachers, school leaders, administrators, education organizations, and ministry representatives from around the world. Each experience is thoughtfully coordinated in collaboration with OISE CPL partners to support meaningful learning, professional connection, and exposure to a range of educational settings and perspectives.
