The Network year is designed to help members move from understanding a challenge to developing, implementing, and strengthening their response.
Throughout the year: Monthly Network meetings, Pathway Studios, Ideas into Action MicroLabs, QuickCasts, community activities, and other opportunities support members as they move through each stage.

Who can join InnovED?
InnovED is designed for education entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, researchers, educators, mentors, program designers, and others advancing work connected to education innovation. Members should have an idea, initiative, venture, program, or challenge they are ready to explore and develop through the Network.
What time commitment should I expect?
Plan to participate in monthly Network meetings and relevant learning and community activities throughout the year, with additional time between sessions to apply ideas, follow through on commitments, and advance your work.
Are activities virtual, in person, or hybrid?
InnovED includes a mix of virtual and in-person opportunities. Delivery format may vary by activity, and details are shared with members in advance.
Does membership give me direct access to OISE faculty, partners, or other U of T contacts?
InnovED creates opportunities to build relationships across the Network and the broader OISE and U of T ecosystem, but membership does not provide unrestricted access to faculty, partners, investors, or other contacts. Introductions or connections may be facilitated where there is a clear fit and mutual interest.
Is InnovED a business incubator?
No. Venture development is one part of InnovED, but the Network is broader than a traditional incubator. It supports people working across ventures, organizations, systems, research, and entrepreneurship education, with an emphasis on professional learning, system awareness, relationships, and sustained progress.
Can InnovED connect me with funding, customers, partners, or other opportunities?
InnovED may share relevant opportunities and help members strengthen their networks, but membership does not guarantee funding, partnerships, customers, endorsements, or introductions. Opportunities are shared or facilitated selectively based on relevance, readiness, and fit.
How are members expected to engage with one another?
InnovED is built on reciprocal participation, respectful exchange, and relationship-building. Members are encouraged to share expertise, ask questions, offer feedback, and build connections organically. Membership should not be used to pressure other members for introductions, business opportunities, endorsements, or access to their networks.
What kind of support can I expect from the InnovED team?
All members participate in shared Network programming and pathway-based activities. Additional coaching, consultation, research mobilization, venture support, or curated connections may be available depending on pathway, need, readiness, and fit.
Can I promote my venture, program, or services through InnovED?
Members may have opportunities to share their work through Member Spotlights, events, or other Network activities, but InnovED is not a promotional marketplace. Visibility opportunities are curated based on relevance, readiness, and programming needs.
