Education Leaders Certificate Program
Moving into school leadership involves a different kind of work.
Leading a school means working beyond your own classroom to guide teams, shape shared direction, and contribute to school-wide priorities.
The Education Leaders Program is a three-course professional learning experience designed to build foundational leadership capability in educators. It is suited for those taking on leadership responsibilities, or preparing to do so, and seeking a structured way to develop their practice.
Grounded in the Ontario Leadership Framework, developed through the work of OISE scholar Kenneth Leithwood, the program draws on a well-established, research-informed model of leadership used across Ontario’s publicly funded system.
The framework has been adapted across diverse educational contexts and emphasizes practices closely linked to improving teaching and learning, ensuring relevance across independent and international school settings.
