Haesun Moon

Haesun brings a crucial understanding and background in executive coaching, leadership education and workplace learning. As one of Canada's leading educators of Solution Focused Brief Coaching, she most frequently works with senior managers and executive level leaders on a broad range of organizational topics including change management and performance evaluation. In her previous role as Learning Consultant at the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Haesun led the design, development, and delivery of several leadership education programs that impacted the organization's talent development as well as succession planning. As the Founder and Program Director of the Solution Focused Brief Coaching Certificate Program at the University of Toronto, she has dedicated the past decade to fostering and mentoring a generation of coaches as they championed a movement of integrating a strength-focused approach in their respective environments across various sectors and disciplines. Haesun is passionate about Transformative Learning in which learners are empowered to facilitate their own process of change and growth by discovering and building new meanings. She applies coaching as an educational tool and framework that facilitates such learning processes. This view and approach is reflected in her PhD research in Leadership, Higher and Adult Education at the University of Toronto and informs her highly engaging and interactive facilitation. A naturally engaging personality, Haesun is a highly sought-after keynote speaker and often appears on podium at international conferences and symposium. Haesun is also an amateur musician and a passionate dog lover.
