One day of this course will be dedicated to investigating the special losses that individuals, families and couples may experience. These will include miscarriage, abortion, infant loss, elder loss and other losses that are not as supported in society.
Disenfranchised grief, special problems and considerations will be looked at, as well as the role of rituals. The second day of this course will focus on groups. The purposes and different kinds of groups will be discussed, as well as creating a group.
PrerequisitesYou must have completed the Introduction to Bereavement Education OR the Trauma and Grief Throughout the Lifespan course before enrolling this course.
