Why Choose Our Fellowships

The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) is a world-renowned centre for research, teaching, and learning.

Our Professional Learning Fellowships provide a unique opportunity to anchor yourself in a self-designated project, with access to sector leaders and dedicated time on task and the support, scaffolding, and rigor you’ll need to work through your professional inquiry.

Over 14 weeks you’ll work with an Organization and Talent Development Facilitator and Experts-In-Residence, chosen for their relevant subject matter expertise, who’ll share insights and guide your learning process. You’ll participate in rich group and individual discussions and find opportunities to collaborate and connect.

What You'll Learn

Enhance your leadership acumen and develop a work-improvement recommendation, plan, process, or initiative you can implement in your workplace.

With access to a network of expert practitioners in the field who are aligned with your work, you (or your team) will benefit from the exposure to and exchange of ideas, while involved in a collective, cooperative, and collaborative learning process that brings results.

As an aspiring or current leader in your sector, you’ll participate in a global community of interest and impact, and engage with speakers, executives, and mentors. You’ll demonstrate higher order thinking skills, while establishing an authentic connection with your new professional network.
