The OISE Continuing and Professional Learning team was pleased to formally recognize Thelma Sambrook as an outstanding member of our learning community with the 2020 OISE CPL Award of Excellence. This award has been established to recognize an exceptional OISE CPL Associate each year who consistently demonstrates excellence in facilitating meaningful professional learning experiences.
A National Award-winning Principal with the Toronto District School Board, Thelma has been a valued facilitator in our OISE CPL Principal Qualification Program (PQP) since 2015. She was selected by the OISE Continuing and Professional Learning administrative team for modelling excellence in professional teaching and learning, mentoring colleagues, sharing leadership insights and practices, and her ongoing collaboration with the CPL administrative team to deliver a great learning experience. Thelma has also actively supported the development of OISE CPL customized learning solutions and continues to do an outstanding job of promoting OISE CPL, enabling broader professional connections.
The CPL Award of Excellence was presented to Thelma during the 2020 CPL Virtual Facilitator Forum on October 24, 2020, and recognized in the Virtual OISE Teaching Excellence Awards Ceremony on April 7, 2021.
