Characteristics of award recipients include a consistent demonstration of excellence in their instructional practices, acknowledgement as a learning leader within their field and inspiring the OISE CPL community to engage in meaningful learning experiences. A donation in the amount of $100 is made to the recipient’s education-related charity of choice and their name is prominently displayed on a plaque in the OISE CPL office.
In addition to teaching Adult Learning and Development courses, Josie has done design and development work for the Department of Continuing and Professional Learning.
This past summer, Josie designed and facilitated a custom adult training program for 2 cohorts of 20 higher education administrators and government officers. This program was in collaboration with the Canadian Bureau for International Education and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines.
