CPL Award of Excellence 2017 Recipient - Kristi Ivan

To acknowledge and formally recognize the incredible talent on our facilitation team, OISE Continuing & Professional Learning (CPL) presents an OISE CPL Award of Excellence to one outstanding staff-nominated facilitator every year.

Each summer, candidates are nominated and a recipient is chosen based on their consistent demonstration of excellence in instructional practice, for inspiring the OISE CPL Community to engage in meaningful learning experiences, and for being acknowledged as a learning leader within their field and practice. A donation of $100 is made to the recipient’s education-related charity of choice and their name is prominently displayed on a plaque in the OISE CPL Office.

This year, we are thrilled to announce Kristi Ivan as the 2017 recipient of the OISE CPL Award of Excellence. Kristi, Facilitator and Program Coordinator of the OISE CPL Adult Learning and Development Program, was presented OISE CPL Award of Excellence on Saturday, September 9th during the annual CPL Fall Facilitator Kick-off event.

An exceptionally thoughtful educator and an avid learner who exudes creativity, curiosity and passion for education, Kristi was and selected for the outstanding feedback and testimonials from learners on her Introduction to Adult Learning course as well as many of her peers for the impactful learning experiences, collegial support and inspiration she consistently provides.

A co-chair of the newly formed Online Learning Advisory Group, member of our Workplace Learning & Development Curriculum Review Committee, and a regular contributor to the CPL Connected Educators webinar series, Kristi is a key figure in the development of our Workplace Learning and Development portfolio. She is instrumental not only in the delivery of the Adult Learning and Development program, but in the role she played to completely redesign the program in 2015.
