From Insight to Impact: InnovED MicroLabs Are Where Ideas Get to Work

Through a mix of virtual QuickCasts and in-person MicroLabs, InnovED has been creating focused learning and networking experiences for educators, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs working to develop, refine, and scale solutions to complex challenges in education. These aren’t passive workshops. They’re collaborative working sessions built for people who are serious about turning ideas into action.

This past March, InnovED hosted its first MicroLab of 2026: From Insight to Impact, Part 1: Systems Thinking for Education Improvement. Over two hours, participants dug into the root causes and systemic barriers shaping education, explored theories of change, and mapped clearer pathways from problem to impact. The goal was practical: help education innovators connect their ideas more directly to the challenges they’re trying to solve, and to the outcomes they want to create.

The energy in the room reflected exactly why this work matters. Participants came in with ideas and left with sharper questions, stronger frameworks, and new connections.

The series continues in July 2026 with From Insight to Impact, Part 2: Applying Design Principles to Transform Your Ideas into Action. Building on the systems thinking foundation from Part 1, this session will support innovators in moving from insight to implementation. Participants will explore design principles, frameworks, and tools for developing solutions that are learner-centered and context-aligned, with plenty of time for peer collaboration and feedback.
