Brian Kalakula,
Brian is a seasoned business development and stakeholder relations professional whose work in international higher education has established innovative partnership development and funding pathways for higher education institutions in Canada and abroad. As the Research Partnership Development Officer for the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Mr. Kalakula works to develop partnership opportunities that can connect the research expertise of OISE faculty members with stakeholders within the Canadian and international education community.

Dr. Elisabeth Rees-Johnstone,
Elisabeth is the Executive Director at OISE Continuing and Professional Learning, University of Toronto, and the co-founder and current director of InnovED – the University of Toronto’s first campus-linked accelerator dedicated to education innovation and entrepreneur development for education services improvement.

Becky Chen,
Professor Becky (Xi) Chen is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Literacy Development of Bilingual and Multilingual Children. On July 1, she begins her term as OISE’s Associate Dean, Research, Partnership and Innovation. To this role, she brings years of experience working with education system, university, and community partners to provide the research evidence base for best practices in education for K-12 multilingual learners.
