Course

PK12-OLE2

Organizational Leadership & Equity

Lead within complex school environments by navigating structures, policies, and resource decisions.

This course examines how leadership is carried out across a K–12 organization, where decisions involve multiple teams, priorities, and responsibilities, including how leaders address issues of identity, power, and equity in their work.

Consider how structures, policies, and processes shape decision-making, and apply your learning through case scenarios and practice-based activities. You will make decisions across competing priorities, align work across teams, and use organizational structures to support equitable and effective practice.

By the end of this course, you will be prepared to make informed decisions across complex organizational contexts, align teams and priorities, and apply structures and processes to support equitable and effective practice.
