In Foundations of Brief Coaching, you'll become familiar with foundational concepts and application of the Brief Coaching method and
enhance your coaching skills, deepen your practice, and learn how to bring a coaching dialogue training to your workplace.

The course runs online (18 videoconferencing hours + 6 self-study hours)

What you will learn:
By the completion of this course, learners will have demonstrated the ability to:
- Review the Solution-Focused theory and the components of a Brief Coaching framework including contract, preferred future, instances, and progress
- Establish a contract with practice-Clients as per their desired outcomes and Brief-Coaching framework
- Apply positive listening, intentional responding, effective questioning techniques and feedback techniques to explore and elaborate practice-clients preferred future
- Differentiate solution-building process from problem-solving modalities in a coaching context
- Articulate how mindset and assumptions deliberately inform the language used in a coaching dialogue

Online - Synchronous & Asynchronous
Your learning will take the form of in-depth online discussions as well as group and individual assignments. Learners will be expected to engage in approximately 4 hours of learning per week for a total of 24 hours:
- 18 hours online synchronous learning (video conferencing & activities) - click "View Details" next to 'Schedule & Location' to view the meeting schedule
- 6 hours online asynchronous learning (readings, activities, discussion boards)
