Cultivating Entrepreneurship: Improving Accelerator & Incubator Learning
Enhance your leadership capacity with educator skills and improve the performance of your accelerator/incubator with enhanced strategies and services you can begin implementing right away.
Through a flexible and supportive inquiry-oriented environment, you will be challenged to assess your business accelerator/incubator’s functional, structural, technical, and team readiness to improve services that best support all stakeholder needs.
You’ll be guided to think critically as you explore and develop your unique accelerator/incubator implementation plan, recommendation, or other project to advance your organization’s workplace learning goals and objectives.
Learning Outcomes
- Examine the key advancements and trends in education for entrepreneurship and accelerator/incubator networks.
- Explore opportunities and challenges of education strategies (work-integrated learning, cooperative education), partnership development approaches and accelerator/incubator services.
- Discuss and examine a range of practices and approaches for education entrepreneurship strategic plan design, and strategic plan implementation for your organizational/unit entrepreneurship education goals, objectives, and commitments.
- Investigate and determine your education entrepreneurship improvement plan for advancing your incubator/accelerator commitment and learning performance outcomes.
- Explore creative and innovative approaches to sourcing opportunities and improving professional learning experiences within entrepreneurship education incubators and accelerators.
- Identify, define, and reflect on project challenges and how to mitigate them.
- Establish a network of connections to other experts within the education entrepreneurship community.
- Enhance and demonstrate Educational Leadership skills.
Prerequisites
This Fellowship is open to experienced professionals with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive work experience. This refers to experience that demonstrates growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
Applicants should be actively engaged in a leadership role (which may include managing projects and influencing or implementing organizational improvements) with an interest in pursuing an in-depth, learner-driven inquiry.
