In our 'always-connected' world of social and interactive media, today's professionals are acquiring information and collaborating with colleagues in different and dynamic ways; this is true of their learning experiences as well.

Learning Experience Design (LxD) is the synthesis of user experience, instructional systems design and educational pedagogy and it's changing how we develop and deliver learning solutions in our workplaces.

Come join us as we discuss:

  • The key drivers of Learning Experience Design (LxD) which have and are changing expectations of learners and learning organizations
  • The 6 dimensions of Learning Experience Design (LxD) and what’s trending with respect to learning design and delivery methods/approaches

Guest Speaker: Elisabeth Rees-Johnstone, OISE M.Ed. – Education Leader, Entrepreneur, Consultant

Elisabeth is Executive Director, Continuing & Professional Learning with the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) – Canada’s top (and 8th in the world) faculty of education of the University of Toronto. Prior to joining OISE, Elisabeth held senior leadership roles within Canadian post-secondary institutions, various international corporations and a boutique management consultant firm. Over her 20 years in education, she has consulted extensively with business executives in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, and across multiple industries, in developing and implementing professional education initiatives, customer experience and engagement strategies, blended and mobile technologies, education program administration and evaluation.  She is the co-founder and a board advisor to The Client Counsel and received both a BA and a BEd from McGill University and a M.Ed. from the University of Toronto (OISE).
