Gain insight and 'stress-test' your vision to drive workplace Learning & development performance in your organization.
Through methods of facilitated professional inquiry, you’ll be introduced to diverse insights on workplace education initiatives and guided to think critically as you explore and develop your unique and creative approach to advance your organization’s workplace learning goals and objectives.
Learning Outcomes
- Identify and discuss the evidence-informed practices and models that inform workplace learning and development.
- Reflect on internal, external, and organizational factors that may impact workplace learning and development approaches and practices.
- Explore creative and innovative approaches to enhancing learning within your organization.
- Determine mechanisms, processes, and outcomes when considering frameworks for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating an effective organizational workplace learning and development plan.
- Consider equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) and Mental Health/Wellbeing needs to achieve workplace learning performance
- Develop a strategy for the managing, monitoring, and measuring of workplace learning initiatives’ effectiveness, improvement, and capacity-building.
- Reflect on challenges facing your vision and how to mitigate those challenges.
- Establish a network of connections to other experts and peers within the workplace learning and development community.
- Enhance and demonstrate Educational Leadership skills.
Prerequisites
This Fellowship is open to experienced professionals with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive work experience. This refers to experience that demonstrates growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
Applicants should be actively engaged in a leadership role (which may include managing projects and influencing or implementing organizational improvements) with an interest in pursuing an in-depth, learner-driven inquiry.
